About weaning & family nutrition
Starting solids is exciting, and for many parents a little daunting. When to begin, which foods first, how to manage allergens, how much is enough: the questions come thick and fast.
Our Nourish at Home nutritional therapists visit you at home to talk through your approach, whether baby-led, spoon-fed or a mix, and help you set up a kitchen and a routine that makes family meals simpler for everyone.
How it can help
- Knowing when and how to begin
- Introducing allergens with confidence
- Baby-led, purée or combined approaches
- Iron-rich first foods
- One family meal rather than three
What to expect
- A home visit around six months, or just before
- A clear, personalised weaning plan
- Kitchen and pantry set-up for family meals
- Follow-up support as your baby progresses

Questions about weaning & family nutrition

Do you support baby-led weaning?
Yes. We support whichever approach suits your family, including a mix of both.
